Body awareness can be one of your superpowers so that every action you take and every thought you create is empowering. It is empowering because what you do and how you perceive everyday events are wholly aligned with the self.

Becoming powerful is not a selfish reach. It is fulfilling your soul’s purpose to embrace and express who you are. In this space, you show up better for yourself and others.

YOGA NIDRA

I first encountered this form of yoga in a modern dance class, where the emphasis was on body awareness and not breath nor entering the state of being. I am presenting this truncated form, because it achieves heightened proprioceptive and interoceptive sense necessary for body awareness, which is the focus of this article.
